The Specialist Golf Academy is located in the immediate vicinity of Collier Park Golf Course. It is the only school-based golf academy in Western Australia. It caters for students who want to play golf for recreation, right up to elite players at state or national level who are aiming for a professional career. Golf becomes a core subject and is integrated into the regular school program.
The Specialist Hockey Academy is Australia’s best school hockey program. The boys’ and girls’ teams dominate the competitions in Western Australia every year. The Hockey Academy utilizes the nearby Perth Hockey Stadium and the college’s specialized facilities to provide a varied hockey experience, with an emphasis on developing technique, physical conditioning, and game strategy. Both programs are run by the school’s own teachers, who hold nationally recognized coaching licenses and have extensive playing and coaching experience.
The Specialist Contemporary Music Program offers each grade level a balanced swing band in which students can play music together during class time. It provides a thorough foundation for entering jazz and contemporary music programs at secondary music schools and conservatories. The program also offers coursework that enables students to work in the music industry after graduation.
