Private School

Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School is a modern private school in the hinterland of the Tweed Coast. This area is one of the most beautiful in Australia and is surrounded by pristine rainforests, mountains, and expansive beaches. Gold Coast International Airport is only 15 minutes away.

As part of a multi-million dollar project, the Mahers Lane Campus has been extensively modernized over the past two years and expanded to include a state-of-the-art Senior Center.

Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School offers a broad education with challenging academic, artistic, athletic, and extracurricular programs. The school is particularly strong in English, mathematics, science, and music, and offers a range of interesting practical subjects such as marine science, economics, software engineering, Aboriginal studies, and design and technology.

There are numerous orchestras and bands that participate in school and community performances. As part of the annual Artist-in-Residence program, professional musicians work with and perform with the students. In addition, Lindisfarne has set up its own recording studio where music students can record their own works.

Dance is offered at Lindisfarne as part of the performing arts program. Performance opportunities include school performances, concerts, showcases, and the biennial Senior School Musical.

Lindisfarne offers more than 30 different sports and several sports excellence programs, including the Netball Centre of Excellence, the Matt Fydler Sports Academy, and the High Performance Surfing Academy.

The Lindisfarne Basketball Club offers the opportunity to play in the Gold Coast Basketball Association. The school has a full-size indoor stadium, a sports hall, four multi-purpose outdoor courts, and two sports fields.

The outstanding outdoor education program and associated recreational camps have become special features of Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School. Students take part in activities such as abseiling, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and many others. These activities promote endurance and interaction with peers.
