The NBSC Mackellar Girls Campus is located in leafy Manly Vale, just minutes from the famous Manly Beach. Shopping centers, sports facilities, and medical facilities are just around the corner, and if you’re in the mood for big-city flair, you can be in the heart of Sydney in around 25 minutes by bus or ferry.
As part of Northern Beaches Secondary College (NSBC), Mackellar Girls Campus belongs to a school network of five high schools that were merged in 2003 to offer students more choices and specializations. Mackellar Girls is the campus where only girls in grades 7 to 12 are taught – and it has retained its own unique identity.
The unofficial motto “Mackellar Girls can do anything” symbolizes the school’s development: it has evolved from a domestic science school into a modern high school with a broad academic profile that now also includes science, languages, and creative subjects.
NBSC Mackellar Girls Campus is particularly valued for its excellent results, dedicated support, and open, supportive learning environment. Students benefit from programs for the gifted, language support for international students, and a diverse range of sports, arts, dance, music, and leadership activities.
The goal is to educate girls to become self-confident young women who are both academically strong and socially aware—and thus well prepared for the challenges of a global world.
